Even as movers delivered boxes, the new homeowners agonized over what do with an awkward arrangement of cabinets, TV and fireplace. A talented local interior designer proposed a plan, sent me drawings and we all collaborated. We settled on a traditional design, keeping the fireplace insert while matching the home’s existing design language. The transformation worked! We brought new life to the living room without disrupting the homes beautiful existing aesthetic details.

This imaginative homeowner wanted a tree house to serve as an inspiring base for their personal and business interests. As an author and business owner with a prolific mind for designing, they had a vision with few traditional boundaries. We started with concepts that grew bolder with refinement and incorporated post and beam structures set atop undulating foundations, arches and walking bridges clad in custom stone masonry. A dated corner of this Weatherford Texas home was transformed into a custom bar designed for gathering and conversation. What began as underused space evolved into a refined entertaining feature with built-in cabinetry, tailored shelving, integrated lighting, and carefully selected finishes. The result is a distinctive bar area that adds character, functionality, and lasting value to the home.

Customer wanted to add character and color to her relatively new home which was expansive but had very little character. The kitchen, dining and living area was expansive yet offered no feeling of separation between spaces. Initially, she wanted beadboard ceilings simply to cover the generic white ceilings but, she was open to suggestions. We proposed coffered ceilings, because they enable character, creative lighting options, invite a variety of colors and generate an inherent separation between functional areas.

An 8' solid white oak door was built around an ornate round window with stained glass which was cherished by a customer. Custom creative projects, particularly those out of the ordinary, are always welcome at Peter Attila Designs.

An original 1980s master bath with a bulky jacuzzi tub was reimagined into a refined, modern retreat. Clean white marble-look walls, natural gray slate flooring, layered lighting, and thoughtfully crafted cabinetry transformed the space into a bright, functional bathroom built to feel timeless and perform beautifully for years to come
